Where the Sun Belongs is a children’s book that explores themes of identity, belonging, and acceptance through a gentle, accessible narrative. The project was developed to spark meaningful conversations with young readers, supported by warm visuals and inclusive storytelling
To deliver the book as a complete creative project, overseeing both content and visual execution while ensuring the message of inclusion translated clearly across languages and cultures.
We managed the project end-to-end, from creative sourcing to final delivery:
• Sourced and appointed the author and illustrator to ensure alignment with the book’s tone, values, and audience.
• Led the creative direction of the book, aligning narrative, illustration style, and design.
• Designed the book layout, focusing on readability, pacing, and engagement for young readers.
• Oversaw translation and adaptation for the Italian edition, Dove il Sole trova casa, ensuring cultural and narrative consistency.
• Prepared supporting visual and presentation assets to extend the book’s reach beyond print
